• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Rain, rain, go away,...

Well, it's raining here in MD today, and riding is not so much fun in a down pour.

So what's your sanctuary when you can't get out to Ryde? What are you passionate about off the asphalt?

On a rainy day like today, I just take the opportunity to kick back in the recliner with a cold beverage, watch a little TV, and do my second favorite Spyder hobby, reading posts online at Spyderlovers.com

A little downtime is good sometimes too.

Yo Bro, I'm originally from Rosedale. My father worked for the BC school board. They had a shop in Sykesville where he worked. As to favorite off Spyder passtime, don't really have one other than irritating the wife and cats.

It's been raining here for 3 weeks straight. Riding has been non-existent here for almost a month. :(

Man send a little our way. Temps have been hot and dry. No rain for at least 6-7 weeks. Corn and bean crops are on the verge of failing .Brown is the new green as far as grass goes .We never put off a planed ride, rain or shine .

We have had our share of rain here also. Almost every day--but not constant--a shower here and there. Today the rain has been continuous. I ryde when it rains occasionally, but not continuously.

My pastimes are the same as the OP.

Today I did some extra jobs around the home. Installed the new Sealfloorboards shim plates on my brake pedal, and install a set of gloryders on each of my RT's.

Rain...

I just a bit grumpier than I normally am... :roflblack:
We've at least had a couple of decent days here for ryding... low to mid-eighties and no humidity! :ohyea::ohyea: :2thumbs:

I actually did get out to ryde today. Met a couple of GFs for lunch, and took one of them on her first ever "bike" ryde. She was thrilled and I was happy I could do this for her. So, he couldn't irritate me while I was out!! roflmao If I can't ryde, there's enough at home to keep me busy!

Can't remember that last time it rained here in St. Louis so we will be happy to take some of what you are getting. Friday was the first day in 23 straight days that was below 90+ degrees and now for the next 4 days the forecast is between 102 - 105 degrees and then more of the 90+ days.
IT'S HOT AND NO RAIN!:gaah:
