• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

rain gear

Frog Toggs are always a comfortable inexpensive standby although for heavy rains I like my BRP gear the best

I went to wal-mart and bought there's pretty inexpensive and will last better and keep you dryer in a hard rain than frogg toggs. At least thats what all my friends that have been riding for more years then me say. I try to avoid the rain as much as possible so i'm not willing to invest in a pair of the good frogg toggs. The only ones I would consider dont have any pockets and the head cover doesnt roll up or detach.

That's because it's designed to be worn under your helmet; it keeps the rain from running down the back of your neck...

Rain Gear

My wife and I have First Gear mesh jacks. They have a plastic liners and we have Coleman camping pants and I water proofed our riding boots. We road in heavy rain for hours and stayed dry. That's IMHO.

Frogg Toggs. Worked for us last month when we got caught in a frog strangler. Kept us nice and dry. The hood that goes under the helmet is a plus. Keeps the rain off the neck. Our previous rain gear wouldn't have.

Tried the frogg trogs last year. Coat ripped after 3rd use and would balloon. Still have the pants.
Maybe I bought cheaper version:dontknow:

+1 . . . rode through two thunderstorms on June 18th . . . stayed dry as a bone.

Nothing wrong with ballooning . . . I think it keeps me cooler . . . and I wear them to stay dry, not to win a fashion show. I've had my Frogg Toggs for ove a year and had no problems

Frogg Toggs for me, My last set lasted for 5 or 6 years, just go to looking bad so I bought new Road Toads which are a little hevier, both worked grest in the rain, Deals Gap to Dayton, Ohio in rainstorms on my ST wiht my old set. Stayed drive

I have used Frogg Toggs for 9 years. I recently rode for an hour in a "frog strangler" here in Central Fl. and when I got home and drove in the garage, I took off my Froggg Toggs and was as dry as a bone. They are great in the summer as they are not so hot. Here in Fl. you need something that will breathe and still keep you dry. JMO
