• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Rain Gear Recommendations??

rain boots

the last time I rode my old two wheel cruiser in heavy rain my feet got soaked
so I bought some pricey rain covers to go over my boots
on a trip on the RT through Wyoming and Oklahoma I discovered that I didn't really need the covers
the RT does an adequate job of deflecting water away from your feet

Just wanted to thank all of you that responded in this thread. I have the very same question and it is helping my wife and I decide what to do...

That said last year we bought the Tourmaster Flex and could not be happier with the jackets, but very disappointed in the pants. We get soaked in the crotch area in any sizable rain.

This is why we are reading up on this now... :D:chat:

For those looking to buy rain gear, be sure to check out www.newenough.com as they currently have some on clearance. They just posted a Tourmaster suit on there today. If they have the type you decide you want to buy, you may as well see if you can save some money on it.

I'm cheap. Dudley and I both have Frog Toggs. They are light, pretty quick and easy to jump into, stuff into their own bags (could be smaller) and works for us. Granted we live in southern California and before that Tucson, AZ so our experience with rain has been minimal (thankfully).
