• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Radio Preset Problem

I just had a new 2013 ST delivered this week. I am trying to set the radio stations, but it will not run thru all of the numbers for presets. I need to erase some and redo them, but it will not let me. How do I reset all of the presets? Thank you for your help. I can't find anything in the user manual.

Can't be done, unless it is different from earlier Spyders. If you are lucky, you may be able to rewrite a preset...but you may have to fill all 15 slots to be able to do so. They seem to be kind of erratic in that regard.

NancysToy,
So you are saying to fill all 15 and then I can rewrite? I am a pretty technical person, but this thing is making me feel dumb. I have spent two evenings outside messing with it and now I have a dead battery. What happened to the old days when you just held down the memory button until it beep. I probably should have gotten one of my neighbors kids to do it for me since they seem to know more than the adults now days. LOL. Thank you for your help. I have to wait until the battery charges now.

A few owners claim to have rewritten the addresses without filling all the slots first. I managed to do it on my 2010, but I cannot seem to do so on my 2012. Like you, I have tried and tried. If I remember correctly BRP's position was that all slots had to be filled first. The audio system on the Spyder is a disappointment. As you said, it should be easy to do this. Among other features on the system, this one is not well executed.
