Price is important in all of our purchases, but 24.95 shipped to me for a nice looking, good working product seems to be more than reasonable to me, although i have no idea what you paid for that one or how it works

Did you have to change the cable also, or just the mast? And it did come with the same boot?

Just unscrew the old one n replace it with the new one! I used the same boot! slides down really easy, without having to splicensure the boot!

tried this one,looks good but reception was better with the 7.00 walmart rubber antenna.

I put the $7 Schosche antenna from Walmart on my RTS after the OEM antenna fell off. I am totally unimpressed. When I get more than about 30 miles away from the transmitter the signal sucks. IMO, nowhere near as good as the OEM antenna.
