• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Thanks to Ann and Joe from Squared Away for replacing the Cat with a bypass while doing my laser alignment. She sounds great, rides smooth, and is 20 lbs lighter!

Wow...!!

A 20lb egg she laid....:roflblack: no wonder she sounds so much better and runs so nice...:2thumbs:

Are there any videos available, that show differences before, and after the baffle has been installed? :dontknow:

(With the stock muffler; of course! :D)

The baffle goes inside the cat bypass.

Kngfsh27, What I'm saying is, since I connected the bypass back to the original muffler, there is no need for the baffle (Back Pressure-wise). This according to Joe from Squared Away, who I trust to know what he's talking about.

I thought the baffle was needed to resolve a lack of back-pressure problem with the cat bypass on the F3. I'm not sure why you would want one on an RT. I have the same set-up you do and it works and sounds great with the OEM secondary muffler. Also has more low-end torque.

Baffle

We do quite a few of these. If you are removing the "cat" with a cat bypass, no baffle is needed, If you are using the stock muffler. Plenty of back pressure, and the sound is nice. If you've removed the stock muffler, and do a bypass, you might need a baffle. Depends on the muffler you install. You really can't remove the cat, remove the muffler, and expect a baffle to do much. Murphy Brown had the exact same setup Pam has, and we rode with her 9000 miles or so to Alaska. It worked perfectly. Never a pop or sputter. It does exactly what Lamont and Len say it will do: run better, sound better, drop weight, lower heat! I can't speak to anyone else's bypass, but these are great! I'm glad you like it, Pam! It was a pleasure to meet you. Joe
