• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Just got back from the "Tombstone Ryde-in" 12,13,14 Jan . Pete Nixon and his volunteers put together a great event . There were 75 spiders 105 people in all. There was a lot going on at least three Ryde a a day vendors ,tech sessions etc. Jack put together a great Ryde to the Chiracahua national monument then down through Bisbee, unknowing he would be the leader and got nipped at but did a great job. Their Facebook page has great pictures, also there was Joe and Ann (squared Away) Ann got stuck leading the half of Jacks Ryde that got left behind and Joe rode sweep but we all got reunited. Flamingo babe was there as were highwayman2013 and Karen, Sharon and List Zohar (zoozmc.com) from the San Diego Spyder Ryder of America chapter, George and Lori Parry, Kieth Slade, Dennis (Allthingthree.com) and so many more. For a thought that I heard at the Red Rock Ralley for a Dec Ryde, it was a great success. They may have one in March

Great to see all our old "Rally Friends" show up at Tombstone. East Texas, Oregon. California, Utah , Idaho and many other areas were represented. I think everyone enjoyed this a lot. Kudo's to Cindy 1 and Cindy 2, Pete and the rest of the "gang that put this together in such a short time. Let's do it again. It was fun.

We even got to meet Genes (Chupaca) lovely wife Ilana. He actually is married and has a wife. There were rumors he just made her up you know.

My wife and I enjoyed the Ryde-In as well. Our hotel (Sagebrush Inn) was a short walk to the middle of town. The team did a great job and the American Legion group deserves kudos for the use of the hall and the great food at a very reasonable price. The area was great for riding and exploring.

Great Job!

Had a great time! So many friends! Such a cool place! Fantastic rides, scenery, history! The Legion did a fine job! Got home about an hour ago. Safe and sound, but chilly. We had such a good time!!! Needs to be an annual event!!

Thank you for coming

Thank you for coming and it's great to hear that you enjoyed our little place in the world. I was looking forward to meeting all of you that I "see" on Spyderlovers. Unfortunately I did not. Perhaps we'll meet again at a future rally.

I encourage you to post your photos in this thread.

Safe riding,
Rob Owen

Will see everyone for the next "Winter Spyder Ride In" in Globe AZ on March 16, 17 and 18th. American

Legion again will be the center hub of Spyder action.

Wow their getting closer to home and not on the same day as the Super Bowl!

Jack, sorry that we missed you there in Tombstone. My brother and I went on the Ghost Town ride, so missed seeing a lot of friends that went on the other rides. Spent about an hr. in what used to be the town of Gleeson, East of Tombstone, visited the old jail, general store, hospital and school. Lot of old history there. Then headed to Douglas, AZ, down near the border, visiting the old Gadsden Hotel, then on to Bisbee and drove past the huge open pit mine. Had a great time, and want to thank all the folks that put this week-end together. Hope they make this an annual event. Adding a few pics.
