• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

R/C Toy spyder

I drove down to Coldwater, MI tonight and stopped at a Walmart with barcode in hand. Looked all over and found someone to help me. She was able to scan the code and determine they have 18 coming in-- probably within the next 2 weeks. She was really helpful and took all my info down and said she will keep an eye open and call me when they show up....

She was also able to check other stores--- she did a 150 mile radius from Coldwater--- and NO ONE HAS THEM! Zero. Nada!

Strange.

I am confused, have seen on different occasions for whatever reason, a DIFFERENT BAR CODE FOR THIS PRODUCT , do we really know which one is correct or do they both work ???????? This info is most helpfull when we go on a full scale HUNT for the elusive RC SPYDER !!! :chat:

The top one--- UPC-A scans just fine at Walmart. Never tried the other one. You can just go to one of the 'check price' things and scan it-- but all it will tell you is the price. Handy to have for someone to scan and check inventory.

Anyone able to verify if they're available in Canada yet? I spoke to a sales person at the source an he looked in the computer that goes Canada wide with none anywhere.

rc spyder

Saw about a dozen At Wal Mart this morning.

There are several on e Bay $95 UP.

Maybe I should buy a couple and see about reselling.

They should be on display today in Walmart. They are on sale for $49. The regular price is $49. This is a Black Friday item being sold as a pre Black Friday item. Many places are having early Black Friday sales. I like those people on Ebay 100% profit. American capitalism. Were learning from the pros the banks, insurance companies, wall street and the big corps.

Charge/Use and whatta charge outta use

+For those inclined to simply plug and play...
FOR OPTIMAL LONGEVITY
8-hour charge, +15 minutes of use, then 8-hour charge, +15 minutes of use, then, 4-hour charges thereafter, regardless of use.

The black lab got a workout following the rider carrying his kong toy.

The rhodesian ridgeback got a workout from a lengthy game of chase.

I got a workout simply 'cause I crashed & burned for about a half-hour straight.

I got it to flip quite a few times, but eventually got the hang of reverse Js. I was able to initiate severe wobbles in reverse, and from the appearance of skittishness, am happy that our full-sized versions don't lean.

My rider and bike have road rash.

This is fun...

Ride on.

Had a very productive day, we had a very good planning meeting for Spyderfest. Then hit several Walmarts, twisted a few arms of employees and manage to find these two.

Oh, thank you Wal-Mart. Where would the world be today if not for Wal-Mart? If Wal -Mart doesn't have it we don't need it!

:bowdown:Wal-Mart
