• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

R/C Toy spyder

Have not seen any up here in Canada yet, But found a store with Brp snowmobiles Considering all around Mississauga is getting major snow lately it might be a good toy for winter :spyder:

Well i didn't need to buy them and, they were wrapped up in shrink wrap so you couldn't get to them until 5 am. I wasn't there for the madness. They only had two on the skid. so $19 dollars was what it was.:mad:
 
Paying it forward???

Ok, so here's my little way of paying it forward to all my extended Spyder Family members that might be doing without (TheRC Spyder) this Holiday Season.

I stopped by my local Wally World in Florence KY & they had a few on the shelves. If you contact me, we'll set up a way for you to pay & I will go down there, get what you want & ship it directly to you. No additional costs, you just pay for the unit, taxes & shipping & that's it. I know I'm not really doing a major service, but hey, if you can't get them local, this is gonna be the next best way. Of course, this is as long as they have them in stock.

Just send me a PM with your contact info & which one or how many you want & I'll get right back with you to set it all up.

Wait a minute! You may live in the sticks, but I can't imagine that anyone within 50 miles of the pair of you doesn't, by now, know what a Spyder is! You have to have the most eye-catching pair of Spyders on the road. Maybe you're spending too much time modding, and not enough time doing laps in the Wally Mart parking lot...

I hope my Spyder can survive the work hours being cut back. I would love to continue playing with mine. Either sand it down and give it a weathered look with the aircraft scheme or a nice bright flag scheme.

Funny thing is I have only had my Spyder at Wally World 3 times now. :dontknow:

Of course they draw a crowd everywhere we go, and we get a lot of people asking questions. Perhaps because they no longer say Can-Am Spyder on them people are not understanding what we are telling them. :roflblack: Mine does have Spyder on the side of it. We usually don't bother just ryding them into that small town and back, I prefer to go at least 100 miles per ryde. :D

I have been sick for the past week, and have only made it to work and home again. I have no idea how many may be left at the local store now. :dontknow:
 
I've been looking but can't find any here in Newfoundland. I've checked all Walmarts in the city and two outside upto 100km away... no luck. :(.
 
Three Wally Worlds within 12 miles of me, one 9 miles south, one 11 miles northwest, one 12 miles east, only one had them. They had 4, two yellow, two red. They were on the top shelf in the babydoll section. :dontknow:

Michael, thanks for the offer!!! I mentioned the idea to my fiancé in passing, she said I should hold off until after the holidays. So, I think she'll trying to get one for me, after noticing I really want one and can't find on here anywhere! Not sure where she is trying to source one, but I did mention a number of times the ones on ebay are way over priced and said I'm staying away from them. Hopefully she will also. I wish her luck, for my sake :).

If Santa doesn't bring one, I may drop you a note, if that's cool?

Spyder toy

Ok, I admit it. I'm slightly nuts.

I found a red Spyder toy (finally). On Sunday, we did a group ride. I put the toy in my frunk. It is identical by my :spyder2:. I put a cup of water in my cupholder. While everybody was looking away, I dumped the water on the ground under my bike. I then hollered "Betty is in labor". That is my name for my :spyder2: and everybody refers to her as Betty. I then opened the frunk and "delivered" Betty JR.

It was the hit of the day.

Side note, I still ride with my local HOG group. I have been a member of them for 10 years. A lot of friends. I always ride sweep so I don't screwup the staggard procession. It's funny when we stop for gas or at a restraurant little ole Betty gets all the attention from bystanders while their chromed out Harleys sit and pout.

Used some touch up paint to turn it to the moonie grey color.

Got anal and painted his jacket to look like my old Navy Flight Jacket...took pics of the patches and reduced them to size, glued them on the jacket as well

Still trying to scope out the tail trunk and Hwy Windshield

Sounds good to me Dean. Hopefully Santa and your fiance will come through, but if not let me know. I haven't been to the store in a while, and need to go see how many they have left as well.
