After 30,ooo miles, I have to say .....................
:joke: what goes up, must come down nojoke = :hun:
OK, guess we're as good a goose as any to test this out, and we have, through all weather conditions, ryding year round here in Northern Kentucky and SouthWest Ohio. Rain, Sleet, Snow and whatever else Mother Nature has chosen to throw at us, and YES stuff, crud, whatever you'd like to call it, does build up, but not all that bad, at least is the case with Teds Red Sled. We've had the Left side bottom splash pan off since taking delivery from Len at Cowtown last year, and at each oil change that I do, I make sure to clean away anything that has indeed built-up in that area down there, but after 30,000 miles of smiles, all is still well  We've suffered NO ill effects from leaving the splash pan off as of yet. If that changes, I'll let y'all know. But be smart about it if you do this, and check it yourself every so often, and if you see "stuff" building up, remove the stuff
