• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

It is never to cold, I only stay off the roads when they are snow covered. If you guys need some cold weather gear I suggest Choko Gear. It is made in Canada, and is the warmest snowmobile gear I have ever had. Bought my first set in 2001 and still have it. You can find it in a "Shadetree" motorsports catalog online.

Just sayin'............

Yep gonna ride Friday and Saturday the weather is going to be great heading up to Kissimmee to the Demo rides whos going? Looking forward to riding a new STS just to say i experienced the 2013 modles hope it runs straight im guessing they have them sorted out by now will see ya all there.

To cold to ryde

:doorag: It was 42 this morning when I left for work on the Spyder :ani29:(Budda Buggy). Dress for it and go enjoy. I won't ryde to work if it is pouring rain when it coms time to leave. But if I get caught in it, oh well. Sucks to be me. That is what rain gear is for.

I ride almost everyday somewhere my 2013 sts has 1000 miles in 2.5 weeks so I ride all I can and I will be at the demo ride this weekend as well se u there mouth peace.......

Define cold?

Is it too cold to ride???? Even this Fri, Sat and Sunday??
Me thinks that temp will be different for each person...I have no issue ryding at any temp (i.e. Tuesday started on an 8 hr ryde at 28') I just have proper/adequate clothing and snug as a bug in a rug. NOW ice/snow the only person I know that doesn't allow those elements to stop him is SethO :yikes:. Ryde when you want, where you want, it is your ryde, your life, your decisions...gees if I waited for all the stars to align and everyone to agree on the "proper" temp to ryde I would NEVER get out of my garage..:lecturef_smilie:
Ryde Safe and see you at Spyderfest in a few..

As long as the roads are clear of ice/snow, I try to Ryde to work...sometimes First gear to suit, and sometimes heated gear-all depends on the temp and the windchill!
Things get a bit questionable much below 10-15F, though... Get concerned about battery turning it over after sitting in an open lot all day.! :D

I'm not gonna be able to make it to CFPS for the demo rides. Granddaddy has some obligations to see both football and soccer games. I promised them that I'd be there. Hope to see ya'll at another event.

Too cold is a relative question.
A weekend ride in the weather we have recently been experiencing, is too cold to enjoy the ride. (for me--too much like WORK {WHAT A CUP CAKE
:p })
As a transplanted Northerner, (Damn Yankee) I came here to escape the cold. Interestingly, I come to find there are times here in Florida where, for me, it s too hot to ride, ( damned if you do, damned if you don't )

Hope that clarifies the question. :D:roflblack:
