• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

RT-S PE#0170
Just wondering if anyone has noticed feeling more vibration through the foot peg with their RT than with their GS. I can feel a significant amount as compared to what I felt with my GS.

I don't know if I feel more but I do feel it. It's a v-twin and vibration is part of owning a v-twin. All in all I think it's pretty smooth. :doorag:

I have felt it, too. It shouldn't be different, but it may feel different due to the revised seating position, and the fixed pegs. Pretty much disappears above 5,000 rpm, so it's a reminder to me to keep the R's up. The RT-S seems to be more "vocal" about protesting low rpm operation, than the GS/RS was.

Yeah, I've noticed more also, but it seems to be only in 5th gear.

More Vibration

Hello,

My dealer was telling me that the RT had an extra cross brace by the engine, that was suppose to make it smoother than the RS.

go figure
