Question who has the BEST PLUS warranty?

trying here ... tried a few other forums. Someone must have bought the BEST PLUS the one with maintenance and the first 600 mile inspection ...

I cant find a whole lot online at the CAN AM BEST warranty website or in their brochures or what I got from the dealer.

what EXACTLY is covered by the PLUS option. All i see is that it covers 600 mile service and then 1 annual maintenance per year of the BEST PLUS coverage... what does that mean?

the 1st two years under the factory warranty i cover maintenance?

also what is covered in each annual maintenance? the major mileage maintenance is covered?

thanks in advance for someone who has a can-am best plus extended warranty that can tell me exactly what is in the contract

Correct: initial 600 miles service and one maintenance per year (maximum 6 hours labor): I piked the valve clearance inspection @ every 12K...

No, unless you bought maintenance service plan(s): 6 services, 1 or 2 years (unlimited miles).

Also what is covered in each annual maintenance? the major mileage maintenance is covered?

One maintenance per year (maximum 6 hours labor).

When I was shopping for best pricing on BEST...dealers I talked with felt the PLUS was pricey and did not recommend...especially when I do my own oil changes...so just went with BEST with Bryce at Berts Mega Mall (they had best pricing).

Thanks! Docdoro excellent info... so I guess next question is how many hours is the major services that costs so much? I am guessing they are over 6 hrs.

I called the Spyder hot line and the girl said you can use the say 3 maintenance (which you say is 6 hrs labor) any time even in the year 1 and 2 of the ownership. you get 3 times plus the 600 mile initial inspection included in the 36 month BEST PLUS.

I guess lets see 6 hrs * 3 = 18 hrs plus the initial 600 mile maintenance which I negotiated to about $150 should be less then the difference between BEST and BEST PLUS 36 month contract. One dealer quoted me about $600 more for the PLUS 36 month contract.

$600 - $150 = $450 / 18 hrs = $25 per hour labor rate you are paying... not bad as long as you use the 3 times for major mileage inspections.

Well, the BEST Plus doesn't really cover the whole job. I took mine in for the 600 mile and had to pay the difference between what the dealer is reimbursed for the job and their rates. I don't remember what the difference was, I had some other work done at the same time.
