• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I will be moving from pa to florida in a few weeks. I will be towing my spyder on an open landscape trailer. If there is no rain in the forecast I will just put it on the trailer. I was wondering if anyone had used the can am trailering cover 219400173. If so is it a tight fit where the paint wont get messed up. Thanks for any advice.

We have heard that ALL of the covers will "flutter" at speed, and cause damage to the finish on the bike. It is much better, to leave it uncovered, and just give it a good washing.

Also agree with the fluttering cover scenario.

It is less expensive to wash it, than to paint it.:yes:

I agree...transport with no cover.....you will be surprised how quick that flutter will ruin the finish.

Suggestion; If you are staying overnight at hotels on the move. Lock that Spyder to the trailer real good with heavy chains and make sure the trailer is the same to the tow vehicle. I have seen where they steal the entire trailer.

I have been trailering my RT Limiteds the past two years with the BRP cover. It states it is made for trailering but last year with the constant wind buffeting going down the highway, it wore two holes in the cover where the handlebars stick out?? I took the cover back to my dealer and got a replacement. Before trying the new one out, I had a local upholstery shop sew in a piece of reinforcement on the inside (he used some boat cover scraps he had) where the handlebars touch the cover. Very happy to report on two runs this year of over 1000 miles we had absolutely NO PROBLEMS!!! Just an FYI.
Oh ya, the BRP cover fits over EVERYTHING like a glove!! AND, IT DOES NOT MESS WITH THE PAINT JOB!!!
BIG F

Don't do it. Just load up n go. As others said. It will cause more damage with cover

I do not cover mine eithet

Took three days to get it clean
Snow rain 1200 miles

Somehow gets very dirty on trailer on interstate

I have heard of a cover called Gatorhyde, custom fit with lots of stretchy things holding itlike shrink-wrap to bike

But no experience wi it
