There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Question on Fender Tip LED Bulb Light on RT color choice

clueless

New member
which is brighter or opinions on Yellow (amber) versus White LED bulb upgrade for the fender tip? :helpsmilie:

I would assume White is brighter but Yellow gives drivers contrast to the width of the spyder...

thoughts on which color to chose and why or if you have photos of the higher output LED bulb upgrade would appreciate to compare which way to go.

thanks! :2thumbs:

I got the amber after I saw them on photos that DAVE01 posted. I feel they define the front of the Spyder. The amber are also a little cheaper.

One of mine burned out, so I went into a truck stop and got 2 white long life with a number 97. They are considerably brighter than the stock. Why LL, they last a lot longer

fender LED

I got the amber but I think the original white bulb was a lot brighter and covered a larger area. I could look down from the seat and see that the white bulb was on but I can't see the amber bulb.

went cheap for trial ... ordered last night from ebay the 5 LED 194 size bulbs for $1.50 shipped each :2thumbs:

i figure if they don't work only cost $3 to try out.

they have 4 LED around outside an e one pointed straight out top of bulb so should light the fender tip brightly from all angles.

went with white as looking at the spec you get more lumen output from the white bulbs then the amber

I went with amber tips for the front fenders as they flash the same color as the turn signals, didn't
want it to be confusing for oncoming traffic.

I ordered the day runners in amber also and was going to have them hooked up as turn signals
but i was shipped the wrong color so I kept them solid and not as a turn signal. It would have been
to much hassle with the bike torn apart at the dealership. Now today i just had installed the
bright sides and wow let me tell ya all the flickering is consistent same color, so I am happy.
