• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Question for the Roscoe Diner group

Americade in June...
But NO trailers... my bike is (was:opps:) a road-dog! :2thumbs: No Trailer Queens for me!
I road up and done the motel thing at $100+ and I've done the toy hauler at $50 with some food saving. This is much prefered, especially when you have friends camping with you.

Well I do have to admit that my Missus's idea of camping is when room service is limited to pizza from the shop next door...:opps:

Camping today can be like rolling your house and garage down the road and setting up shop in less than an hour, just on a smaller scale.

We'll be looking for you

Spyderfest is worth the trip regardless of the weather. I'll be coming from Las Vegas next year and I can't wait.

Hi Ann,

We are just hoping that at least we won't still be having snow around here by then! Of course as we all know that is entirely possible. We will be there if at all possible and it will be great to see you guys again. Have a great winter in your new home and have nice holidays. ;)

See you next year,
Jim

I know seems early for that doesn't it?

Believe it or not Jim, there is 8 to 12" predicted here tomorrow

I have been watching the forecast and I could see that all of you guys out east of us were going to get hit pretty hard.:gaah: That really sucks doesn't it!! We aren't supposed to get anything really. If we do it is supposed to be minimal. Keep us posted and whether they were accurate on the snow fall amounts.

We are generally lucky to get it by thanksgiving or more likely christmas. I have the sled ready, but not registered yet, Damm.

We are planning on going to the Spyderfest this year in Cuba, MO. We were all signed up for last year but as you probably remember the weather around here was very cold and rainy and they were having the tornados and really bad weather out that way last year, so we cancelled.:( Hopefully this year it will be better:pray:........anyhow I was just wondering if any from the Saturday morning group at the Roscoe Diner were planning on going out there this year? Would love to ryde out with any or all of you that can make it or for that matter anyone who might be interested in going from the East.

Unfortunately we won't be able to make it to :spyder2:fest this year. We don't have enough room in our frunk!!!.:joke: I would definitly want to ryde though. That's all part of the experience. "The journey is part of the destination". I envy you and Nancy hitting the road so much. All those miles represent smiles !
We plan on doing as many rydes as possible in the coming year, including SITA, Ingalls Run, Americade, etc. Rnet, I agree that trailering and camping can be a blast too, and we plan to do that for Americade this year. It would be great if we could get a group together at the same campground. Lake George RV Park...... I'm just sayin. Bob, this place has ammenities I think even your wife could camp with.:bbq:

Been there for 4 years now and our group is getting bigger each year. Last year we had a get together one night and some riders came in from town to join us. Look forward to it again. Bob 3 swimming pools and hot tubs and for those that don't have campers, they have cabins. Last year there were 8 of us SLs and others with bikes. Hopefully if Phantom 888 ( Tim & Sherry) comes again this year he will get with our group. We must all book early.

;) Americade in June; can't wait. Will probably need to share FreddY FrYke with hubby as he will probably need to take the VW convert. Don't have FreddY set up with a trailer hitch yet and I need to have my mobile scooter up there. Stay a block from Canada Street and do all my "in town stuff" on a Jazzy Scooter. If you see a Red Jazzy with a Harley Sticker on the back (I will get that changed), be sure to say "Hi". Also, you may be able to recongize me since I may be wearing a turquoise hat. I need to meet some other Spyder people. :D

Well I will mention the possiblility to her...
(We actually honeymooned in Lake George about a thousand years ago... :opps:)
So... Patches and decals...

I would try to make it if it were not the week before Americade. I will pulling into Lake George on 6/2/12 and staying all week. The Gawkers will be riding all week with one special Wednesday Ride like in the past. Jim, will you make it back to Americade, if I was retired it would be good timing, Ride from one to the other, but I can't take 2 weeks off in a row and there is no better event for me.:banghead:
