• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Question for the American Spyderlovers

I sent in for my 5,000 mile pin with the required pictures, it got it in about a month.
A very generous fellow member here donated one to my Missus since she's certainly logged as many miles as I have; but in the navigator's perch!

They don't accept "two spyder" families I guess.

Had the same problem when we purchased my 2012. I did get the 5k pin for the 2010 RT but it took a few tries and about five months. Not going to worry about it for the 2012.

Hey Doc, how many miles do you have now?

Our RT has 3261 miles (compared to Ed's GS with just under 32,000); not too bad for 8 weeks. The BRP paperwork says the pins are for 5000, 25000 and 100000 kilometers but I guess I'll stick with the consensus opinion and wait till I hit 5000 miles. I consulted a km/mile conversion chart and I've got enough kilometers! We never did send off for the 25k pin for the RS. It's been hard to log in riding miles with Ed's chemo but he's "off" until the 26th. We're planning a PGR ride tomorrow. Should be a bit chilly (mid-50s) but at least the sun is supposed to be out. Have a Merry Christmas, everyone!
