• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Question for Finless Bob or anyone who knows the answer.

My wife and I have the Sena SMH 10s. We are paired together. Mine is also paired to my phone, GPS and iPod. Hers is paired to her phone and GPS. Last night we were out for a ride and she could hear my music from my iPod. If it matters, we're both on our own bikes.

Is there something I can do so she can not hear my music? Or better yet, what did I do wrong when I set them up?

Thanks in advance.

On the 20S to start or stop music sharing you push and hold the center button and will hear a series of beeps followed by the annoying lady saying that Music Sharing is On or Off. To initiate music sharing you have to have the intercoms open between you.

That does not happen often

That is nothing that happens often however it is with the way you have them paired
if I were you I would call SENA Tech and have them walk you through the cure
here is the contact info for them I would use the (408) number if I were you

I am unaware of the SMH-10 having a music share option. Our SMH-10's are only paired to our individual phones and together for communication, bike to bike. Sometimes our headsets hijack the opposite phone if we turn on the headsets too close to the other person's phone . You could try activating your headsets out of range of each other or turning them off and on. That's how we handle it. You should activate yours near the iPod and your wife out of range of your iPod but near her phone .
