Question about power bridge adapters?

I am doing some DIY wiring this winter :read: and wanted to know if someone can explain the different uses and locations for the power bridge adapters for the OEM harness.
There are 2 pin, 3 pin, and 5 pin adapters available and I wanted to know where on the Spyder each of these different types of connectors is used?
This would be a handy reference when someone needs to know where they are attaching wired accessories.
