• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Question about IPS Lidlox

New to riding just got my 2016 F3-T. The question I have is putting you helmet on these is there a problem that someone could just come by and cut the strap? :bowdown:

Maybe

I guess they could, but would render the helmet useless. I use a chain and a masterlock to attach the wife's helmet to the backrest. Someone could use bolt cutters and take it.

There is NO DEVICE made by man that can STOP a determined thief from stealing anything.
Devices can only DETER.

I have the Lidlox on my 2015 RT LTD and they work great. However if someone wanted to take your helmet they could either cut the strap or grind the Lidlox T and take your helmet. All you can do is stop the person that is walking by from grabbing your helmet or make it so they go on to someone elses.

:agree: Right on! :clap::clap:

Helmet storage is a bit of an issue with the F3. We rarely use our frunks, saddle bag, or top trunk for helmet storage though. We usually leave them on the seat and visible if we make a eat stop, or we just take them indoors with us. At gas stations, there is always someone with the Spyders. Glad to say we have never had a helmet stolen--although we know it could happen.
