• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Questions

I have a 2012 RT SM5. I took it for a short (1st ride out of hibernation) spin today around our city park. when I apply the brakes I notice a clicking sound on both calipers . It stops after they engage but click when they are first applied. Do these need to be lubed somewhere?

Thanks curt

Let's see..!!

should clear up. The pads are hanging up on th hangers. Once you get more ryding in it should clear up. Don't lube anything on the brakes...

I have the same issue on my 2012 RT SM5 and on my first service I asked about it. Dealership said it was the brakes "snapping in" and it should only click early in the ride. It seems to be accurate since i only hear it within the first few minutes of a ride.

The situation sounds normal. Sort of like us mature folks getting up out of bed in the morning. The joints--they be stiff sometimes. :roflblack:
