• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Vibrating bell sound… I think it coming from the left front ?

New 2021 Spyder F3S 1330 SE6 ….I’ve been hearing this faint vibrating bell sound since I purchased it in June told the dealer about it the next day so they told me to bring it back so they could have a look at it ….with me driving over the road it’s been kinda hard for me to take the trip up to Bensalem, Pa. so to make a long story short I just waited until I had my 1st oil change done ….I got my 1st oil change @ 2000 miles I know it was a little early but I had a 20 off coupon and I really wanted to know what the sound was coming from ….was told by the mechanic that everything was checked and nothing was loose and that I would have to come back and leave it so that they could further diagnose to find out where the noise was coming from ….that was 1000 miles ago so I just learned to live with it …..I seen a post of someone having the same problem and something wasn’t tightened when they aligned their belt for tension….they left pics but they had a 900 cc spyder and the back axle setup looked a little different to me ….

Any suggestions of where to check would be greatly appreciated

If that’s not a joke …. I don’t have any friends that ride and it’s garage kept so the only person who had access to it would of came from the dealership

No, I assure you that it was not a joke reply, and I think that if the dealer had attached one, the service department would know about it. I’m sorry if my original reply upset you....that was not my intention.

No I wasn’t upset just didn’t know how to answer if it was a joke …..no worries it’s not a ringing sound it’s more like if a old school style alarm clock bell was vibrating a faint vibrating bell sound I can’t even hear it if I have a helmet on but if I’m city riding with shades on I can definitely hear it ….just was wondering if anybody else experienced this if it normal that’s ok …I’ll just live with it ….

Sorry I can’t help with that...first thing is I’m hard of hearing, so if mine does that, I wouldn’t hear it anyway, and second, up here in British Columbia helmets are mandatory 100% of the time. As for my gremlin bell answer, just trying to eliminate possibilities. Hpefully someone else will chime in shortly. Good Luck. Oh, welcome to SpyderLovers!

Brucie's reply was not a joke. In fact, as I read your post, I was thinking "gremlin bell installed by previous owner", then re-read your post and saw "New 2021 Spyder F3 ..."

My suggestion would be to find a ripply road to see if you can replicate the sound reliably. That would help to isolate where it's coming from.
