• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

A good reminder to ride safe. Most of us are guilty of pushing the envelope (to some extent) . . . and especially at this time of the season, after being shut up inside for the winter, it's easy to get caught up in the thrill of the moment.....

Ryde safe everyone. Let's make it a great summer!

I've become too much of a Darwinist to feel sorry for anybody doing 100mph on a public street... This kind of foolishness paints us all in a very bad light... :lecturef_smilie:

Thru him 440 feet.......

Very sad - but also very avoidable.....inexperienced rider going way too fast.......

:agree: What upsets me more is that people that want to experience extreme speed on public highways are not thinking of others sharing the same road. What if he took someone elses life with his own? The driver of the other vehicle had his world turned to crap just because of some idiot wanting to push the envelope on a public street.

Oooooooooooo! That is a scary picture. Condolences to the family. Ride safe everyone.

:agree:Imagine, if you will, the reaction of the guy in the car. Minding his own business and now he has this image with him forever. We do need to be safe!

Certainly not a wise choice of a road to be doing such things on.... Whenever I get the urge for speed I go on the highway--- much safer place to do it.

I know I am guilty of pushing the envelope. On Saturday while on the freeway I thought (really, I did) "hey I am past the 600 mile mark". So since there was a long empty stretch in front of me I pushed Orbit up to the 100 MPH mark. This was the first, and last time I will do that. Not only could I got a really expensive ticket, but as shown in this article I could have been killed. It was kinda neat to know I could go that fast, but a bit scary too.
