• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Pumping breaks?

Awesome!!!!! Hubby is on the Custom Dynamics site now. I think I have my Christmas present chosen. Looks great.

I think one can never have too many lights. Before I moved to Plattsburgh from the Lake Placid- Saranac Lake, NY region a year ago, my car was rear ended twice over the years turning into my driveway. Folks were looking at the lake, leaves or whatever and never noticed I was stopped.

I also down shift to aid in stopping but I don't just let the roaster's trans and engine do all the work. I also use the brake just not as much so people behind me know I am stopping.

Whoa, this many posts and nobody's suggested a simple brake light flasher?

I've got one of these on my RS, they make them for the RT as well-- step on your brakes, they flash a few times before going solid, no need to tap your feet no more.

It still only works if you actually hit (and hold) the brake pedal. The OP was worried that applying the pedal without braking could put her into limp mode. Without applying much brake pressure, it would be better to tap the brakes lightly a few times rather than hold the pedal (for the brake flasher) without applying the brakes firmly.
