Wouldn't it be great if SpyderLovers was #1 on the Google Search Engine?

Not sure if it is possible but I'm sure we could bump it up several notches if we all work at it a bit.

Now you can pay BIG BUCKS to have Google put you up front. But that's a big expense on a monthly basis.

If you feel so inclined, here is my suggestion.

1- Instead of clicking on your favorites or other auto link to access this sight, Go to Google.

2- Put Can-Am Spyder into the search box. (You might have to click through a few pages.)

3- When you find the Spyderlovers.com link, click on that to enter this forum.

Then we can watch to see what all the search traffic does for this great site! Should be interesting.

Google is really cracking down on this kind of thing.

I am a bit surprised that this site isn't ranked higher - but I think most that come here are from word of mouth and maybe just come direct or google 'spyder lovers' - which comes out on top.

My feeling is that other sites are paying Google for their bump because we get more hits than at least some of the sites that are above us in the search.

If enough people do this it will be interesting to see what happens. If we get more hits and get higher in the standings then we stand a better chance of attracting new members which will help to move us higher as well.

Just thought it worth a try.

Good idea, to look it up on Google each time. I've kept it on my favorites, but, if it helps to bump the site up, why not?
I switched over here from the "high-price spread", due to a short word-of-mouth, and havn't been back over there, even once. Don't know how you're doing it for free, but I ain't gonna argue, or pass up a good thing.:thumbup::clap:

Wow! What a difference 1 Day can make! Entering 'Can Am Spyder' gives me Spyderlovers on PAGE 1 only a few down from the top. Yesterday we were on Page 4 in my search!

Ron, when I do a google search it still comes up in the exact same place on page 2. Now that is strange. It may be up one or two spots, hard to tell. It does look like a different forum name moved up a spot or two as well.

Google does taylor for the individual so results can vary. I'm going to try erasing my cookies and see if that changes anything.

By mistake I put can-am.com in the search bar (Ctrl+E)...pps:

I just did a Google search and it came up #1. But that didn't surprise me since it brought up exactly what I was asking for...spyderlovers.com

Seems to me that, in order to raise the position, do a search for Can Am Spyder Forums. Only then are you in true competition with others.

Spyderlovers.com still showed up as #5
