• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

"Pull over, driver"

Well, I have read about Spyder owners who have been behind cars who thought the Spyder was a cop. Yup...it happened to me today.

Driving through a subdivision, the small SUV in front of my RT starts slowing down. I wonder, "What's up?" No other traffic. Then when she stopped in the clear, wide-open road; I passed her and saw the look on her face that read, "Huh, that is not a cop."

Good ryding.

They should be arrested for driving "while blind"

headlights high

Usually means your headlights are aimed a little too high and to the car driver it looks like you are flashing yours lights at them.

it happens

Happens to me alot also during the day at night no problems ive even been flipped off by them after pulling off. Road

On the RS, the stock bulbs flash blue going over bumps as different parts of the light spectrum get filtered by the projector lenses.... On top of that I used to have white halogens in my lower motolights...which also flashed blue. Worked great in the hammer lane on Interstates... I would goose the throttle several times and they would move over. I notice less people paying attention though now that Spyders are more common.

Adjusting your headlights a little lower should help. It also helps to run with high beams in the daytime, there is less "flickering" that way.

We have formed a Spyder club here in P R. and most of us have install a real loud siren similar what the police use, that we use on escorts, weddings ect. In one occation we were traveling on a multilane highway when the spyder in front of me was cut of by an idiot crossing 3 lanes of traffic, to the point that my frien have to change lines in order to evade him, you know that I hit the siren , the guy pull over so fast. I believe he was crying. It was fun

beating

I go alone with that:banghead: But I would have to warn him first that:shemademe_smilie::ani29: caUSE YOUR NOT TO DO THAT TO A SPYDER:ani29:
THEY DONT LIKE GOING OFF THE ROAD:banghead:

Here in NC Vol FFs can have red lights on their POVs. Chief officers can have sirens. One new young firefighter got a little overzealous one day. He decided he was in a big hurry to get home after school so he lit up. The car in front of him was the High Sheriff (unmarked car). After the Sheriff pulled over he called in and found out there were no fire calls. Wellllll, needless to say that young fella got a citation for improper use of emergency lights, passing in a no passing zone, failure to come to a complete stop at a stop sign and a broken tail light. Oh, and he was kicked out of the department.
