• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Pros and Cons to have the Akrapovic exhaust on 2014 RT Ltd SE6?

EXHAUST FOR 2014 RT

Hi Gang, hope you are all doing great and enjoying some riding. Have a quick one here, is it worth it to have the BRP Akrapovic exhaust on a 2014 RT Ltd SE6? What are the advantages and disadvantages? Dealer told me that besides a better sound and less weight, would give better engine displacement or something like that....Any opinions, advice or similar would be greatly appreciate it. Thanks and Greetings from Tequila Country....:f_spider:

I bought Akropovic for my 2014, and it's just what I was lookin for. It was a little too quiet with baffles in, so I'm running with them out. It is, of course, personal preference. I'm really happy with my choice. 2014 RT LTD

I am about as new to Can Am as they come. All my experience is with motorcycles and the first thing I always swapped out was the exhaust. This time, when i take delivery, I am going to wait a bit and ride it stock and keep looking around. Question though, installing a cat delete reduces a lot of heat... Is there a lot of heat transferred to the rider and passenger with a stock set up?

Granted it wasn't cheap but I have the cat delete and the akrapovic exhaust on my 2014. I love the sound. For the first time my Spyder sounds like a motorcycle . The performance improved as well both in terms of acceleration and mileage

Did you leave the baffles in or off?
