• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Problems selecting reverse gear! Anyone else? Fix? Ideas?

Here’s one for you, I had the 2018-5 recall done 2 years ago and all was well until last month. While on an early morning ride I stoped at a stop sign, then made a quick left turn. Now the darn thing won’t shift out of first gear. I pull over to the side of the road and started wiggling the shifter. Nothing happens. Shut off engine for a minute, then restarted it. It shifted into neutral on its own. Now it won’t shift into first. After minutes of giggling the shifter, I got it to go into reverse. It still won’t go into first. After 15 - 20 minutes, while waiting for help to arrive, I started it up it went right into gear and worked well for a week or so. The next time it did it, it wouldn’t shift at all. It has been at the dealership for almost four weeks and they can’t get it to replicate the problem. Any body have any ideas? Thanks in advance. Widowrider. P.S. it’s a 2018 F3T with less than 10K miles

Sorry, can't offer any solution to your problem, but it's the reason I decided to leave my bike at the dealer even though my replacement part won't come in for 8 weeks or so. I was afraid I'd be out in the boonies and my problem got worse and I found myself in the same situation as you were in. The Tech told me intermittent problems like this never get better on their own, only worse. Fortunately, if you can call it that, my problem was tracked to a faulty left hand control module, the replacement of which is covered under my warranty. So I'll be without my bike until maybe sometime in Dec, but at least it's where it is going to need to be. I live in a pretty rural area of the state, so pretty much anyplace out of town is the boonies, with the closest dealership about 75 miles away.
