• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I have shuddered over the latest Spyder pricing - $30K MSRP for the new "S", then I just noticed the new Can Am SxS line includes a 125HP $25K toy. Guess I'm getting old, cause I just don't see the value.

I can understand

A little unrelated but we were just looking at the new sled prices. Seems very shortly we'll be priced out of one of our favorite activities (besides the Spyder).

Maybe they will hit and go over the price celling where there sales per unit will drop and the Spyder will no longer be, like there boat division. Look at what happened to 2013 Spyder they drove the Spyders used value down. When I get to were my Spyders is more problem to keep and a poor used market were I will tear it down and sell it for parts It's too bad, I really like my Spyder. Look how many people when there Spyders became unreliable they paid up to $15,000 for a new one. That's IMHO.

Perhaps there will be more year end deals... I don't have $20K in my 14 yet, and I'm totally pleased with the bike...

2015 vs. 2014

Looks like the 2015 Spyder MSRPs have all risen about $200 from what the 2014s were. My dealer here in Ohio still has a few leftover 2014 Spyders priced about $4500 below the original MSRP. For example that new 2015 RT-S "Special Edition" in the two tone looks sharp but I don't think it is $1000 sharper than a regular RT-S.
