• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Prices for 3,000 mile service

I was wondering what other people have to pay for the 3,000 mile service. I know my dealer changes the oil and both engine filters , plus checks belt tension and other items. Supposedly, just the same as the 600 mile initial service.

I'm going to be lazy and suggest that if you type in "3000 mile service" up just above where it says "advanced search" in this window, you'll find a plethora of threads on this topic.

My dealer gives a 15% discount on all parts and labor if you buy your Spyder from them. I paid $189 (reg. is $220) for the 600 and 3K which included two filters, five quarts of oil, (they put the fifth quart remainder in a plastic bag for the next oil change or for top off, charging only for four quarts next change) Tech adjusted my belt, ran the BUDS updates, checked coolent and brake fluids, looked over several areas of BR1 and test rode him.

As we all know, dealers set their own prices on their products. I see on eBay that a Greenville, TX dealer has you choice of colors of RT-S Spyders (not the limited) for $23,488...a good price I think.??

My dealer, a husband and wife team own this small dealership. I like the small town, friendly admosphere. One or both owners are always there to greet you and see "how is it going?". The other two "local" dealers are corporate owned and you never see the same person twice... (sound familiar?) with no personal service.

I have steered several of my buddies who bought two wheelers from them, passing a couple of other dealers to go there.

I told them I am switching to Amsoil at the 6K filter change. They said, fine, we will charge for the filters and labor and you will also get your 15% discount. Works for me.
