• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Find another dealer as they are after your money

What is your sales tax rate there? Seems like they are charging you MSRP of $27,300 plus freight and prep and a couple thousand sales tax to get it up to $30,000

I paid $24,000.00 plus tax for my 2020 RT Limited, Dark. That included a $500.00 BRP coupon for taking a demo ride.

If that quote is from Middletown Cycle, then give Octane Outlet in Batavia a call. Much better people to deal with at Octane Outlet in my experience.

Kinda all depends on where you live. In California at MSRP of $27, 393 it cost approx $450 for one year licensing, $2,500 taxes and $300-400 Cali DMV and state/county fees. High tax states cost more to buy.

If you are talking about the stock RTL, that sounds high.
Are you getting any options ?
The backrest, passenger arm rests, trailer hitch, etc. can all add quite a bit to the price.

30K OTD seems a little high. There is some wiggle room. Local taxes you are stuck with. There is wiggle room on most other items.

If part of it is extended warranty...you do not have to buy from the original dealer, and you have all the way up until the 2 year one expires.

Extended BEST warranty can be had for $680 from iMotorsports.

Prices are too variable to be a reliable indicator of whether you got a "good deal" or not. Since pricing is driven by the market, and the "out the door" price also is heavily dependent on taxes and assorted government fees. It seems to me you get the best deal you can, then ride it, enjoy it, and don't concern yourself with what anybody did or didn't do.
