• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hey guys,

Neutron green SE5, 1900 miles, flawless, in on trade for a 2014 RT. All service records intact and up to date. $12,499 is the price that I was offered. Seems like a great deal, almost too good to be true? Or is it somewhat reasonable/average? I test rode it and besides the common clunking into gear (it's a bit louder than I anticipated, even having read about it), it was smooth shifting and fast.

Absolutely loved it!

Thinking about pulling the trigger!

Little checking..!!

the klunking is normal for first and reverse. Price seems good but check Kelly Blue Book and/or NADA for prices in your area. This can give you a better picture. Good luck on your purchase...:ohyea:

If I were looking for an RSS I would for sure go for that one. That's a good price.

Oops I forgot to mention that it also comes with matching Can Am side bags already installed. I believe my research has shown this is about a $1k mod right?

As you can see...the previous owner also had those quirky foot pedals installed.

Apparently he didnt like the stock ones lol. Needless to say I'll be having the dealer take them off. Probably just sell them online. :dontknow:

Run a search for that year, make, and model on cycletrader.com for your area (within 250 miles of your ZIP code)....................you'll get a pretty good idea of what real world prices in your area are.

:2thumbs: Pull the trigger...

That's a good-looking bike, with a lot of the nicest farkles already taken care of!

Sounds like a pretty good price. The bags cost around $850--but most of the time you don't get back anywhere near what you have into them when it comes to trade in--hence the still low asking price.

It also sounds like you have done due diligence on checking out history and service records.

I would not wait too long to pull the trigger if this RS is what you desire.

stop questioning this opportunity, you like it buy it, the bike is still new.
I bought my GS/RS 2009 in july 2012, it had 4000 miles on it, paid $12,000.
The bike now has 19,000, best thing I ever did was buy that bike.
