Sorry, but I just think he's closing the door on ever having meaningful communication with his daughter. As a matter of fact, firing on her laptop in a fit of anger is pretty juvenile and a bad example of use of a firearm. He's no better in what he's done than she was in what she posted on FB. Is there an adult anywhere in this family? :banghead: JMHO

:agree: I think he was wrong. How many of us when we were 15 going on 16 thought that our parents were too strict, over demanding, and always wrong? I know my two daughters did at that age.

Right or wrong ifi USED that kind of language dropping F bombs and being a snotty little :cus: like that or talked about my parents like that my parents would have beaten me, and it would have Discipline not abuse . People need to remember the differences between that , and that goes for both parents and CPS. I had a friend whos child broke his leg being a BOY and playing outside... the Dr's had to be asshats and reported it. To be honest the overreaction of people explains why children are turning out the way they are. Time out I mean really , 8th grade I was put into time out by a teacher across the hall from the class I was in. SO I was a dumb ass , I got to sit out of the english class . Looking back on it you want to punish me make me sit in the class and deal with the embarrassment from ym class mates. but wait that would have damaged my inner child not taught me that what I did was STUPID and not to do it again .


I love that the teacher did that to the kids phone , but I wonder if the teacher was allowed to keep his job .

Kids are not put on this earth to raise their parents, parents are put on this earth to raise their kids. Some need creative methods. As someone mentioned she had been warned. Touchy feely dosn`t always work. I work with kids who never got enough doses of real life and were given everything they ever wanted and they are worthless. They are pissed if they have to work for anything and don`t get instant gratification for their nothing. Looks to me maybe she just got a dose of the real world good or bad. JMHO
