• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I am curious if anyone has successfully removed the P.E. edtion numbered plaque from the handlebars without damaging it. And if so, what was the procedure you used?

Thanks.

Brad

I gently pried up an edge, slid some fishing line behind it, then heated it up with a hair drier, shimmied the line along... off they came.

and I stayed up to read this when I should be asleep and getting my beauty rest for the Leesburg meet tomorrow....:yikes::roflblack:

great idea with the fishing line. i am going to try it. Are the PE Plaques glued or double side tape?

I've used dental floss and the same method on car/bike badges and decals; works great.

When I removed my #353 so I could have the handle bar cover chormed. I used a heat gun and it came right off with no troble. You could use a hair dryer too. Don't put the gun to close. Pull the gun back and let the heat do the work. a razer will help to scrap it free once it gets warm.
