• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Power Steering Unit/Hunt & Peck

Got a call last evening from the dealer, that the Power Steering needs to be replaced. It's giving too much input at driving speeds and shouldn't. According to BRP, that's what's giving me the hunt and peck feeling while on a straight road. Dealer tech finally took mine for a spin and stated that it's not right. After checking over things and confering with BRP, the steering unit has to be replaced. Hope that cures it.

In other words, When going down a straight road, the bike tends to, without warning, go to one side then the other, when you make a moderate correction. BRP stated that the input of the Power Steering Unit seems to be the same through the entire range of speed. It shouldn't do that. I test drove a different RTS while at the Dealer, and it did not do what mine does. The Service Tech agreed, something's wrong. Have to wait now for the Steering Unit.
