• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

post a picture of your pets

Ouch! That will make one feel welcome. Mine actually seem to be happy when I come back from vacation. They will be waiting for me at the top of the stairs.

YES

He is a big boy. That is a picture of him when he was younger, but right now he is a solid 20 pounds, all muscle. Knocks the breath out of me when he walks over me in the bed to snuggle up to mommy. 13 years old & going strong. He stands guard duty in the driveway to keep the neighboring dogs out of our property. He can be persuasive, since he has a fair amount of bulk to back him up. Cats are every bit as territorial as dogs, if not more.

The funny thing about this thread...
We all can understand what each of us sees in our pets. :D
Folks that don't own pets; well, you just can't explain it to them!

:D You may be right!! :roflblack:
Pets actually DO offer some unique advantages:
No College Tuition...
No Weddings...
No cars...
No lousy Report Cards...

The messes are just about equivalent,
And they're actually MUCH easier to communicate with, than the typical teenager! nojoke

A 20 pound CAT?!?
Our "Tink", is only 4 pounds... nojoke

Yep, he is a big boy & in real good shape at age 13. His playmate, Lucky - he only weighed 11 pounds at his peak - passed 2 years ago next month, and is buried in the meadow on our property that he loved to roam & hunt in. On many occasions, we have seen Moo lying in the grass right by Lucky's grave as if they were communing. He will lay there for an hour or so, and then vanish into the meadow. Here is Lucky sleeping under the christmas tree many years ago
