Sadly Passed Oct 2024 - RIP
:bbq::bbq::bbq:....Yep I loooooooooooove BBQ , but to me it's tedious. Soooo I'm always looking for a way to get those ribs super tender the easiest way I can ...... I start with cheapo country style bone in lots of FAT pork ribs ... I lay a piece of aluminum foil ( sized for the amount of ribs used ) I put my HM Dry Rub on every rib individually .... then wrap them up tight ..... I have a large iron pot from my great grand mother ( not cast - but thick ) I put a small grate in to keep the package off the bottom ..... I have a low temp burner on my gas stove and I leave that on the low setting...... I cook them for about 2 hrs. ..... I have taken the temp while cooking and it stays at 200 +/- for the 2 hrs.... They come out - juicy and melt in your mouth TENDER ..... the dry rub gives good flavor, but you can add any type BBQ sauce if you like...... What's nice about this method is ... I've done this on a 90 degree day, but the very low heat doesn't heat up the house like having the oven on for two hrs..... At 6 o'clock I'm going to start eating them :yes::yes::yes::yes:....... Mike
