• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Just look up metal polishers in your area and see what they can do for you. It is one nasty job to do, thats for sure.

:spyder: :doorag: LOOKS GREAT!!. I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO GETTING MY :spyder:
SO I CAN GET STARTED ON MY CUSTOMIZATION.

:doorag: SPYMAN :doorag:

We've all said how sweet the polished parts look, but I really think I may copy your "no advertising" policy:
Removing the decals is a simple thing that really changes the look of the vehicle...

the first thing I did when I got my Spyder home, was to take ALL of that awful advertising off my bike.
I know its a Spyder....so do you....I don't need to have CAN-AM in bigger letters on my bike than the word "Spyder.

Thats what I did too the day I brought it home. I was just glad they weren't clear coated over.

What did you use to take the decals off?

Looks great. I like the seat cowl too. I might have to order one of them...

actually, I didn't trust using anything, especially Goo-gone.
I was afraid of any substance fading or taking off the paint.

What I actually did was use the old fashioned method.
I waited until it was warm outside and put the bike in the sun...then I peeled them off with my finger nails.

The first one was the most difficult.....but on every other one, I found an edge and they pretty much came off in seconds.
