• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Police model saddlebags

Thinking about bags for the Road Warrior Tribute F3-S: the F3 police model saddle bags look military like and fitting with the motif. I looked at the on-line parts catalog and don't see any reference to the police model. Anyone find them or have info on them?

Doubt you will find the same police quality availble to public but the givi trekker are bout good match & someone here did a setup [COLOR=rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.701961)]Givi Trekker series bags

About two months ago someone posted some heavy duty plastic ones ( industrial quality ) that looked very much like the BRP Police models.....The three units would have been approx. $ 200.00....Total. But you would have had to come up with attaching brackets .....which are sold for universal applications..........Maybe the poster will see this and chime in.......It was in the F-3 Forum.......Mike
Yup you saw same one I'm talking about :firstplace: http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/showthread.php?87516-My-1186-dollar-luggage

in the old days with cars, if you knew the dealer he could order a police car with no markings and all the heavy duty stuff they came with. wonder if a spyder dealer could do that also

I would check out the Moose Racing saddlebags. These are the closest I've seen to bags that resemble the police model. Machinegunner put a set on his wife's F3 and they look sharp! Tried to put a link here but couldn't quite get it down.

Contact Machinegunner. He's got about the coolest-looking set of bags: some BIG Military Ammo Containers.

UPDATE: I found the thread that he started about them...

I wanted the same bags as the police model also. Was stonewalled at every turn, dealers cannot order from BRP, talked to several people at BRP and got the answer that they will not sell to anyone but a government agency. Found out the bags on the police model were made by Givi but they do not sell them. Thought about going the Moose Racing way but they were just too much for me. So I came up with using Tusk alum. panniers and making my own brackets.
Here is a couple of pictures.

I think you may have meant $1,200..not $200.00 as per the original poster..

My luggage is the Givi Trekker series all three pieces were just under 1200 n they look n function great!!!! The brackets were made to SpyderJims specs give or take.. It wasn't tha difficult to achieve and the results for me were exactly what I was looking for

The the beauty is they come off quickly by removing 4 bolts

Thanks for all the links, advice and information. Saved me a lot of running to track down the OEM style from BRP.
