• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Nine years to get there...far out (as they used to say) :roflblack:

Makes one want to go on long journeys into space. Time will tell.

Personally think it's ridiculous that we spend money on such things.

And think these scientists have an agenda...which I'll not mention here.

I agree
And our Federal deficit is all ready out of control
If we want to borrow more money why is it not on something useful that can help our citizens and people that are needy and hungry

Man will never fly, back into the cave,:yikes: I will not try to list the things that we ues every day that came from the space program! You can not give every thing to those who will not work.

Thanks I feel better.

46 yrs ago an AMERICAN walked on the moon.

putting things into perspective .. The US spent $20 to $25 billion US (in 1969 dollars) to fund all of the Apollo program activities..... a gallon of gas in 1969 cost 35 cents a gallon... but we got a box of rocks for spending that much money... now we spent billions to go to Pluto.. and we don't have any rocks to show for what was spent...
it seems to me our government should prioritize and spend money on its U.S. tax paying citizens... but in fact our corrupt government wants to cut social security so they can dump billions sending space crafts to a distant planets to take pictures... soon our government will have to increase taxes dramatically to fund these projects that a select few will benefit from.... it obvious our government has their priorities misplaced..
