• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Got new plugs and wires from Ron and am looking for advise on the install. Going to change them before heading to Spyderfest. Thanks in advance for the help.

It is a 2010 with 21,000. I change my oil and have had that side off amd I had to change the motor and assembly that raises and lowers the windshield. Are there any videos out there on the removal of the air box?

I can't be of a lot of help other than to tell you that we did not have to remove the entire air box just the top piece and then used a ratchet driver with a long extension.

Just completed this task a few weeks back. A service manual is very helpful in detailing the removal of panels to do this job. Although it is not really necessary to remove the complete air box, removing the top of the air box and loosening the bottom allowed me more room to remove the front cylinder plug and to route the new wire between the cylinders.
Once again, I would recommend that you purchase a service manual (electronic versions are available on ebay for less than $25.00) The instructions and pictures contained in these manuals are great for those who wish to do their own wrenching on their Spyders.

P.S. Changing the wires and plugs on my 2010 RT made a world of difference in the overall performance of my Spyder.
