• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I contacted April at Broward Motorsports. She said bring it by in the Am to put it on the buds. I will give her the codes. I will have to drive it there. She said it would make it I am less than 7 miles away.

Right hand side of your rear wheel. Behind the muffler where the brake assembly is. You'll see a silver looking brake line going to the brake, and a black speed sensor cable going to the sensor. There should be a gap between the sensor and the rotor. It just picks up pulses from the rotor. I'm not able to get a pic right now. Someone else can. In addition, since you had some unrelated warning lights, I would recommend checking the electrical stuff already mentioned.
Doug,is it possiblefor me to disconnect the sensor and it will run until I get it back to GA?

This is the exploded parts view of the sensor and tooth ring. Right side of the rear wheel.

No, cuz it will just throw you into limp mode with those implausible signal and failure codes that you're already getting. In a nutshell, the ECM monitors speed signals from all three wheels and they have to be in agreement within a certain range. I would say go ahead and let that dealer check it over for you. You can see in Billy's picture that it might have just come loose back there.

You folks are good. Sounds like your on the way to solving the issue.:bowdown:

Thanks. From us all. Yeah, it's a rainy day so we sit with the iPad close by. However, someday I want to re-visit that picture that Ron posted. There's got to be a good story there.

Made it Back to Georgia

Seems that nasty bump may have jarred the sensors on the rear wheel askew... check the wires for damage the sensor for loose connections and the starred disc attatched to the brake disc for crud or damage. :gaah:

You were spot on. According to the mechanic at Broward Motorsports The bolt that holds the sensor together was severed, causing the sensor to move out of place. I rode back to Georgia from Ft. Lauderdale with no problems after that. This was truly a trial by Fire.:sour:

Thanks for getting back with what you found. We depend on these kind of reports to widen our solution base to help others...Glad it was a quick and simple fix....
