• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

George (the GENIUS for coming up with the idea to make this trip) and I made the trek to Glacier National Park this last weekend. Our intent was to take the ROAD TO THE SUN through the park, which is over 6,500 feet at the summit. Unfortunately, it is not open yet - with sections still under 25 to 30 feet of snow.

Instead, we covered both the East and West entrances, going up as far as we could go, and taking in the sights along the way.

Here's a link to a slideshow of the pictures...

SLIDESHOW

All that I can say is if anyone is CONSIDERING taking this trip, just friggin' do it. But I would recommend giving the forest service enough time to clear the entire length of the road. :2thumbs:

Cool slideshow, looks like you had great weather. I have a silver dollar on the wall there. Thx for sharin the pics! Troy

Awesome! I second that, one of the most beautiful places I've ever been to. Sorry you didn't get to go to the sun, but it gives you a reason to go back, right?

Enjoyed looking at your beautiful pictures ...brought back memories of our trip out west to 19 national parks, including Glacier. :2thumbs: We weren't able to go all the way across, either, due to road construction...went as far as we could in both directions, too. Thanks for taking the time to put together a fabulous show.:popcorn:Now we'll have to go back out west with the Spyder so it will be in OUR pictures...hmmm, might be cheaper to PhotoShop!

same here...thanks for sharing....when we were at Glacier...the roads were covered in snow also....we are talking about going next year...maybe August...thanks

Awesome

Thanks for sharing. Last year my first "long" trip with Ms Spyder brought me over the Hiway to the Sun and thru Glacier...memorable...beautiful...definitely a must do trip for a Spyder Ryder...so plan on going back..

Cool! We've been here since Thursday and have just loved what we've seen. Unfortunately our Spyder got a Check Engine Light and had to be towed to the dealer in Kalispell, but they've treated us well and we'll hopefully have it back by Thursday. We met some Spyder riders today from Edmonton who didn't know about Spyderlovers.com so we told them to look us up!
