• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

i scraped the lower part of my trunk pulling into my friends driveway -- from then on i know to drive my spyder like a corvette -- any bump i go up on an angle . but since i scraped the paint off the bottom edge , it bothered the crap out of me. so i took door edge guard that we put on cars at work and you would never know it is even there , looks like it came that way.

Will those work on an RS? I thought they were RT only...

I thought the same ?

And if you know someone at a detail or Bodyshop you should be able to get a piece of door edge guard for free .

And I wonder what air restriction is caused by the full skid plate under the front ? I never saw one so I don't know . I only saw they made one for the RT models .

I know they attract attention, but now you are making me worry about the safety for my new ride... have you had any damage from all this attention?

From a father that sat his 7 y/o daughter on the Spyder to take her pic, while I was in a Dr's office. She ended up standing on the seat & causing the damage in the picture. I have the same "Don't Mess With" sticker, but I didn't have it pulled out & showing. You can better believe, whenever I stop & the Spyder is out of view, I make sure it is Showing now. Seat was thankfully covered under warranty, so we have our new one on now:thumbup:

Ouch, I'd be so pissed. Too bad everything is plastic or one could electrify it....

I just verified that the RS bump skids should be available for order next week.
It will be the first item I buy for mine (taking delivery tomorrow!)
