• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

RT vs RTL Features comparison - food for thought?

I'll buck the beginning trend also. Glad I got the RTL and if I were to get a newer version it would be another RTL or the S2S. I know I would not be happy with a RT, but that's just me. The added touches and extra storage seal the deal.

:agree: A RT with extras will never make it a RTL, You can't change the Green Card. We love our RTL and are still adding some extras. :2thumbs:.....Bill

I don't want to be off topic, but I would be very interested in how you trimmed 3" off your windshield.

On the outside of the windshield, I sketched the new profile using a felt tip marker, then I taped that line using the top edge of 2-inch wide blue masking tape. Taking it slow, I used my battery-operated jigsaw with a Lexan/Polycarbonate blade. Then to touch up and finish the edge, starting with heavier grit and working my way to fine grit, I used sandpaper and a hand-sanding block

I did not remove the windshield from the Spyder for this project, just make sure the jigsaw deck does not contact your windshield, or it will scratch it, I was generous with using extra masking tape.

Then torch it if you want a clear finish.
