• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

If you pick on Bob... He just posts more.

Actually, if you don't pick on Bob he still posts more.

If you think about it. No matter what you do, Bob is going to post more!

It is a well established fact that picking on Bob is fun, entertaining and will always get a response (like every other thread).

However, it is yet to be established that Bob is actually POOR!

:agree: I'm waiting for the Discovery channel to do one of their OCD shows starring him plugging away at his keyboard. Maybe we can arrange an intervention of Spyderlovers during the filming. :roflblack:

Not picking on you Bob, we all seem to have OCD issues when it comes to reading this forum. ;) You're just the poster child! :firstplace:

Bob just wouldn't be Bob without posting on SL...and SL wouldn't be the same without him...PICK AWAY I say .. me thinks he is a big boy and enjoys..

Personally, I don't think Bob exists. I think 'BOB' is a BOT with Random Auto Response coding. It runs every post through a matrix and replies at pre-set intervals.

Some say they have actually met Bob. But they all seem to disappear shortly after they announce the encounter.

When I left MV I thought when I got home I'd have more miles on my bike than Bob has posts.

Bike has 23091 - Bob has more. :sour:

If you averaged 60 mph it would take you approximately 387.266 hours to attain as many miles as Bob has posts. And that is if he doesn't post again in 387.266 hours!

Enjoy seeing you and your lovely wife here...but just wondering, have you helped her learn to drive the new 2013 RT yet? I can't wait to hear she has bought her own Spyder. We enjoyed meeting you on our way to Spyder Fest and visiting with you both there. :D

Oh... I really DIG that picture! I might have to retire the Terminator for it!

Yes, we now know BOB is just an acronym for Binary Operated Bot.

"Something" claiming to be BOB showed up at Spyderfest and one brave soul took a photo. Running the photo through X-Ray analysis revealed this (viewer discretion advised):
