• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I have been a fly on the wall for awhile here absorbing the posts on the Ryker and finally bit the bullet.
I picked up my 900 yesterday from Don's Kawasaki in Hallam, Pa, after waiting 3 weeks for all my little accessories from Slingmod and Lamonster Garage to arrive.
This is my first (on road, outta metal barrier experience) and I could not stop smiling. Now I have to put it in storage for approx.
6-8 weeks since I'm getting knee surgery on 4/1. BUMMER! I am so looking forward to June. At least my summer isn't ruined.
I cannot wait to to get my second ride and more to follow. Anyway, Hello all.

:welcome: and :congrats: on the new Ryker.

We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers over the knee surgery.

Not to worry, if you're like me you'll be riding long before you're supposed to. While you're in recovery review the "DO's and DONT's." The Ryker is kind of hard to tip over so you can for sure ride it and even have fun with weak knees. Just be careful getting on and off. Compared to a 2 wheeler, it's like flying an easy chair down the road, even a caveman can do it.

Be aggressive with your post surgical therapy. When it hurts and you want to quit look out the window at the Ryker and do another rep.

Welcome, welcome 👍

Congrats on the new ryde.. Hope the surgery goes well and the recovery is speedy and as comfortable as possible...

Thank you all. Yea, wasn't the best time for this to happen but at least I have my ride and it will be ready to go when I am.

Good luck with your surgery. Do your PT as directed and you'll do fine.
I had a left TKR done on 3/11/19 and was back riding on 3/29/19. Be careful getting on/off the trike, that's the trickiest part.

Thank you. That sounds promising. I'm not looking forward to the therapy but I know it's part of the package.

Good luck with your surgery. I had total knee replacement on each and i was able to ride in 3-4 weeks. I have a RT SE6 so no clutching needed when the left was done. Be sure to do all your rehab exercises, no slacking and it should go well for you.

I had a ruptured Quad tendon on my right knee Oct 2018. Just go on my Spyder for the first time this past Saturday. Had a great time. The only problem that I had and that was minor, getting on and off the Spyder and that was me just being extra careful. Do your PT and you will be fine.
Good luck and safe riding

Frank
