• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Patriot Ride

Did any of you attend the Patriot Ride on the 9th? Hubby and I did. I only counted 6 Spyder riders not including me. The ride was very well organized and went smoothly. Next year we are going earlier so we don't miss the morning events. Sure would be nice to see a larger group of Spyder riders there next year!

My better half and I thought about it, especially since I'm a veteran. In the end decided that since I have a total of one week of experience with the Spyder and very little other experience on two wheels I'd give myself a years worth of riding experience before I put myself and everyone else (1000+ bikes I heard) in the midst of that pack. Look for me next year, I'll be there and proud to ride with the rest of you.

I watched them setup from my hangar Thursday and Friday. Was also wondering if there would be any spiders there. Just picked up my F3, next year we should get a group together to go.

LOL, I totally understand. We did not do the actual ride. We registered for it because the funds go to a good source. We just watched. The riders were sent out in several groups so they are not all bunched up. Police escorts were also involved. Go next year and be with your buds. If you get there early in the AM, there was a fly over, speeches and ELVIS. After the ride there is even more goings on. Even a helicopter ride. We registered online and save $10.00 each.

I hop you are enjoying you Spyder. I have had mine for 4 years and love it. I rode her home from Caswells (90 miles) with hubby riding shotgun. Never had a problem and I haven't stopped since. Hubby rides a Harley, but 2 wheels and I did not get along (owies). I have wanted a Spyder since I saw my first one in 2009. Now that we are both retired we almost ride somewhere daily including grocery shopping.

Enjoy and be safe!

Excellent! Hope to see you there. I am not big on group rides, but this one looked so organized. Police escorts and there were several groups. Not all rode at the same time. Also, you don't have to do the ride. We registered, but chose not to ride.

I want to test ride the F3, but I am worried I will want it! I have the RT and love it. 4 years now. I want hubby to get one, but he dearly loves his Harley.

Enjoy and be safe.
