• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Passenger seat Installation problem

Leadfoot

New member
I can't get the seat to slide far enough back for the lock to engage the frame. It's about 5/8" forward of where it needs to be.

Anyone had this problem and solved it?

Got my rally 3 days and have no problem with passenger seat install....I do have the passenger comfort seat with adjustable backrest

Got mine on after several hours of careful grinding on the mating surfaces of the seat and frame. The final .003" of needed clearance was made by removing the weight warning sticker on top of the seat mount. It was still a very tight fit. I was not impressed with the "snap on snap off customizability" of the Ryker! But it is a blast to ryde.

Mine was the standard passenger seat with the folding backrest, don't know if the comfort seat fit might be different.

Hi all ref fitting tight passenger seat , mine is the same a good hard shove got it off Then a small file on the plastic bits where it mates with mount did the trick But I still have to knock seat back , but it's better regards Nico75

I sprayed the seat and bracket with silicone spray then sat on seat and used pegs to push back. cueman

Guess I still need to do more grinding and filing on mine. The lock keeps popping up while riding. Smacks my girlfriend right in the p.., groin, every time.

I had the same problem until I realized the front lip of the passenger seat needed pushed down as it was slid back.
