• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Passenger Arm Rests

Hi All,
I just finished what I'll call phase one of our arm rests for mama. They are crude right now, however they are strong and very functional. I plan on removing them in the next couple of weeks and replacing the hardware store hinges and bolts with some high quality stainless stuff and probobly powder coating the steel arms and just a general dress up of the whole thing, removing sharp edges, and working out the pinch point on the hinges, etc.
Check out my album, I posted plenty of pics.

PS: They are crude, but Heido love's um, and when Heidi's happy, Steve's happy!!!!!

Good work!

That's cool. Man if I had that all apart I would have to change out the speakers. That's just me.

THANX BOB

No production though, built special for mama. However I would be more than happy to share with anyone out there all I've learned and what I used to make them. Honestly don't have 50 bucks in them as they are. Time wise, maybe, 8 hours work.
Probobly looking at another $100.00 to finish them off.

Not to bad I guess......

What a great job!! :firstplace::bowdown::bowdown::clap::2thumbs:
So... when will production start??? :popcorn:

I hope that she realizes just how special she is! :2thumbs: Great job! :firstplace:

Looks very nice. Clean installation. Where are the arm rests from??? Looking forward to seeing pics of the finished product.:2thumbs:

Arm rests our office chair replacement arm rests from ebay.....I think about $15.00. Gonna cover them in leather when I tear them down. I"ve got Polk audio speakers, front and rear and an Alpine amp ordered. Also some led lights comming. When it all gets here, it's tear down time.
I want to get the factory arm rest pads fitting a little better too. The bolts that hold the arm rest brackets down make them stick up a little. Gonna hollow out the foam a little and this should take care of it. Also have some nice stainless hinges and cap screws comming that should clean up the install some too.
Moma loves them. We have ridden about 1000 miles with them so far. Looking at getting a corbin seat. Heidi says she wants to keep these arm rests if we do. She likes that they fold up out of the way.
